Born and raised in the pacific northwest, Bryan has been involved in music since he can remember. At 4 years old he was said to have gotten up on stage and sing at his parents bar / music venue in downtown Portland.
As a teen Bryan was involved playing in bands, one of which won a spot performing the main stage at the Portland Rose Festival and featured on the front page of the Oregon City News.
Bryan continued his education at Seattle's Art Institute studying recording engineering and audio production. While attending school and thereafter he was also setting up sound and lighting a venues in Oregon and Washington such as: The Gorge Amphitheater, The White River Amphitheater, Clark County Amphitheater, Salem Armory, LB Day Amphitheater and Portland Convention Center.
While recording with his own projects and recording others, Bryan started getting more into electronic midi and solo recording. Especially since having solid band members became harder and harder to come by, he dove deeper into creating electronic music.
In 2010 Bryan met Melissa Dorres. Soon after they began toying around with creating music together. They were able to Utilize Bryan's engineering, drumming and midi skills to be a two piece so that they would not have to worry about flaky bandmates. This also enables them tour with ease. In 2014 they debut at Dante's in Portland, Oregon and began their journey as When We Met.
